The Unsearchable Riches of Christ

The love of money will be the downfall of a man who trusts in its power. Money doesn't love anyone, but everybody loves money. We need it for the necessities of life, but God gives us well-being. God wants us to depend on Him for our needs. When we accept Christ as our Savior, we can see the benefits of being saved. The work of men's hands is deceitful and evil. Our works are not good enough to save us from the wrath of God. We cannot please God in the flesh. Without the new birth, we are spiritually bankrupt. Ephesians 2:4-8 "But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ: That in the ages to come he might show the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness through Christ Jesus. For by grace ye are saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God." No one can brag about themselves and their goodness. We were aliens and strangers with no hope. The blood of Christ brings us back to God. Verses 18 and 19, "For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father. Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of God;" Read the Word of God and know the true doctrine (teaching) of Christ.
