The King's Highway

 Matthew 7:13-14

"Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it."

The straight and narrow highway is not under construction! There are many detours, off-ramps, and exits. You can always make a U-turn. To get where you are going, you need a map. The Bible is the best road map you can use; it gives priceless information. Let's say you are traveling to Heaven. and you see a sign that says, "do drop in for a good time." The Bible will tell you that many people took that exit. They were not able to finish their journey. They did not stick to their PLAN. If you fail to plan, you already plan to fail. Make sure you know where you want to go. There are many ways to get to a place. But there is only one way to get to Heaven. And that is Jesus Christ. Your Bible serves the same purpose as the lights on a car. The lights will not keep you from running into a ditch, only to show you the ditch. The Bible will not keep you from going to HELL, but it will show you how to get to HEAVEN safely.
