Grace

Grace is unmerited favor for someone who needs a pardon. The Bible teaches us we are saved by grace, not by our good works. Love and mercy are the foundation of grace. We could not keep the law or fulfill it because of sin. The operation of God sent grace through Jesus Christ the Lord. Part A of the scripture in Galatians 3:13 "Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us:" God has done for us what we could do for ourselves. Salvation is the GIFT of God. Salvation is free, but it is not cheap. Jesus paid the price of ransom for our sins. We were hostages of sin.

Romans 6:14 "For sin shall not have dominion over you: for you are not under the law, but under grace." Now sin has no power over us. If you yield yourself to the pleasure of sin, the law will judge you. When we are obedient to the Will of God, we can walk faithfully. The new life in Christ is freedom from the wrath of God. We are saved from death and hell by the love and mercy of God. Grace is greater than the law; the love of God rules over hate.
