A Change of Heart will Change your Mind

King David asked God for forgiveness and a clean heart.

A new belief system (a new way of thinking) is necessary for the process. In the bible (KJV), Philippians 2:3-5, "Let nothing be done through strive or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others. Let this mind be in you, which also in Christ Jesus." When we put on the mind of Christ, we identify with the teachings of Christ. We must be born again and walk by faith and not by sight. By the power of prayer, we give ourselves to Christ and His purpose. Our obedience is the key to our new way of thinking and change of heart. We must follow Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit. In Christ, we have a new perception of who God is; we are no longer strangers (sinners), but we have become sons. With the mind of Christ, we see God as our Father, loving and keeping us.
