The bible is the Word of God revealing Jesus Christ as the Son of God and God the Son. Jesus and God are One; Jesus declares God as the Heavenly Father. God is our Creator and Keeper, there is no other that makes this claim. God spoke all things into existence, God was there before there was. It was God that said, "Let there be." And the heavens and the earth was created by the Son (the Word). The Holy Spirit of God was active in the work of creation. God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit are equal in co-existence.
From the beginning of time man has heard about God and His Acts. But, God said that they (men) had gone in their own ways. And that none of them did seek righteousness. The disobedience of Adam, the first man in creation, caused sin and death to come upon all men everywhere. The obedience of Jesus Christ caused all men who believe in His name, to pass from death unto eternal life. In the bible (KJV), I Corinthians 15:21-22,"For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive." Men are not saved by their good works, but by the their faith in the saving power of Christ. Your belief is the foundation of your Walk and of your Worship. Belief in Christ is the beginning of your spirituality. Salvation is God's Gift to you and your PRAISE and WORSHIP is your Gift to God. God does not make us worship Him, but we must worship God and only Him, by our free will. It is unusual for man to worship God, because man seeks worship from one another. The creature desires worship more that worshipping the Creator. Satan was an angel (creature) in heaven and he refuse to worship the only Holy Father. Pride caused Satan to rebel against God and he said in his heart, "It is better to rule all of hell, than to serve in Heaven." Then he was cast out of Heaven. Don't let your pride hinder your worship! We often approach God with the wrong motive. God is worthy of our praise and worship. When you worship God, you must approach His throne in the power of the Holy Ghost and in the Name of Jesus. Your love for this world is not welcome at the worship of God and neither is your love for money. God is no respecter of person, you must surrender your heart to His Will. God does not expect you to worship Him, but it is a requirement. Psalm 95:6-8,"O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lord our maker. For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. Today if ye will hear his voice, harden not your heart, as in the provocation, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness." The call to worship is a call to humble submission. Even as Christ gave himself to God in total submission, we must also give ourselves to God...
