Sacrificial Work

Becoming spiritual is the operation of God. No one in the flesh can please God. The new birth is of the sperm of God. 1 Peter 1:23 "Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever." The choice to do the work is a gift from God. You must be willing to let the Holy Spirit work through you. Before the job gets started, the Spirit will convict you of the sin of unbelief. Believers must be able to persuade unbelievers to come to Christ, our Savior. We must choose the path of righteousness over this world. The power of Satan has been broken. Through faith, we can overcome all obstacles and be effective in our work. The Word of God is our power. Prayer keeps us connected to an unlimited source of strength. Witnessing is not easy. When rejected, No is an acceptable answer. Evangelism is effective when the Holy Spirit leads us.

The life of sacrifice and service is the duty of every born-again believer. Suffering is no excuse for not working. We must take up our cross and follow Christ. We have entered into the sufferings of Christ. I Peter 4:13. "But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy." A reward of REJOICING is OUR CROWN.
