Work to accomplish the Mission

II Timothy 2:3-4, "Thou therefore endue hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier. "We must choose to please God in the power of the Holy Spirit. Following Christ is a daily task; we must overcome sin through prayer. We cannot do it alone. We honor God by being faithful to Christ. We can't quit! The work of an evangelist is never done. Teaching and preaching the Word of God unto the saved and unsaved. The work of the Church is to meet the needs of the people. We must work to reach those who are gone astray. Revival is for the Church: evangelism is to lead lost souls to Christ. Staying focused is the key to a successful mission. We are encouraged to overcome the rough times and be faithful to our calling.

Be aware of the temptation to hold on to the world. The things of the world are temporal. The war that we fight is spiritual. Hold on to God's unchanging hand.

There is no glory in quitting. Stay on the battlefield and receive a reward. Hold on and hold out. Our message is the Death, Burial, and Resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The empty tomb is our proof.
