Where do we go from here

We must make preparations to depart this world that we may enter eternal life. Death is not the end, but the beginning of our spiritual life that will never come to an end. Jesus made it possible for us to pass from death unto life. In the bible (KJV), St. Mark 4:35, "And the same day, when the even was come, he saith unto them, Let us pass over unto the other side." When you hear Jesus say, to the other side, you must ask yourself, WHERE DO I GO FROM HERE? Answers come in several ways. We must first make this invitation PERSONAL and give our lives to Christ. By accepting Christ as our Personal Savior, we are ready to begin a RELATIONSHIP with Him. If you don't know Christ, you do not have a relationship. If you are not in Christ, you will not PASS OVER, but you will PASS AWAY. You must prepare in the morning for your departure in the evening. Prepare to go to heaven TODAY, or hell will be your TOMORROW. Christ is Lord and God, but it is up to you to have faith in His saving power. God is calling you and all mankind everywhere to REPENTANCE. Mark 1:15, "And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel." Notice how two men heard Jesus calling them. Verses 16-18, "Now as he walked by the sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and Andrew his brother casting their net into the sea: for they were fishers. And Jesus said unto them, Come ye after me, and I will make you to become fishers of men." And straightway they forsook their nets, and followed him." Notice their RESPONSE, they did not ask questions, and they did not make excuses, but they forsook their nets. They dropped what they were doing and followed Jesus.
Nets represent sin and its entanglement. When we hear Jesus calling, we must repent of our sins, forsake our sins, and follow Him. When we are obedient to His call, we will hear Him say Let us pass over, unto the other side. There are two purposes for going over to the other side. 1. The will of God must be fulfilled in our lives. As Christ preached repentance, we must preach repentance. We must warn the world that repentance is an ULTIMATUM, and everyone must REPENT or PERISH. Salvation is for those who accept Christ as their Savior, and Hell is for those who resist His love and mercy. You have a choice: to remain (die) in your sins or be born again (live) and pass over to the other side to be with the Lord. 2. Assurance, the fulfillment of the promise. Our goal should be to enter ETERNAL LIFE and live the glorious life that Christ has prepared for those who love Him. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh to the Father, but by me." St. John 14:13," Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also." Do you know where you are going? Make up your mind; heaven or hell.
