The Struggle Within

We all go through obstacles and disappointments in life. Overcoming them is not always easy. Suffering is a part of life being Christ-like. Our lives should demonstrate humility, compassion, and concern for people. The struggle is to deny self and live the new life in Christ. The price of honesty is great. Being dishonest will cost you more than you want to pay. Even the love of life has a price. The Word of God helps us with our struggle. 

We are encouraged to keep the faith, to be steadfast, and to trust God. Holding on to this world will increase your struggle. 

In the Bible, I John 2: 15-17. " Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever." 

Learn to deny yourself, forsake active sin, and follow close to the light of Jesus Christ. It is the love of God that keeps us in our struggles.
