The MYSTERY of GIVING

One of the greatest mysteries in life is when we give. It is a virtue and an honor to be a giver. Most people never realize the gift of giving, because their mindset is always receiving. Then, when you give with the wrong motive, it has no real value. Giving is from the HEART, and the bible makes it very clear. It says that God loves a cheerful giver. It’s not always about giving money. Some people don’t need your money; they may need your love and friendship. Some of the best gifts cannot be purchased. God’s gift to the world is PRICELESS. Then you should understand that no matter how you try, you can’t beat God giving. God has given the greatest gift of all gifts; without Jesus Christ, we would not have salvation or eternal life. You must decide to give charity or to seek charity. God has blessed you to be a blessing to someone less fortunate. Open your heart and be a GIVER. Can you give, and expect nothing in return?  Or can you forgive and let it go? You are not a giver until you learn how to FORGIVE. Forgiving is CONDITIONAL; if you don’t forgive, you will not be forgiven. In the bible (KJV), St. Matthew 6:14-15, “For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: But if you forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.” As we seek God’s forgiveness, we must forgive others who have wronged us. Forgiving is not easy, but it is possible. God forgives us through Jesus Christ when we confess our sins. God has given salvation to the world through His Son, Christ our Lord. Christ has extended the invitation of salvation by saying, “Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” It is yours to accept or to reject. Rest is for the repentant soul, and hell and damnation for those who reject Christ. You must be born again and become spiritual so that your giving will not be in vain. The MYSTERY of GIVING is shown in John 3:16 by God giving His Son for an unworthy people and Christ giving His life to save mankind. THAT’S REAL LOVE!  It is a blessing and a privilege to be a giver. Giving has more value than money; it’s about sharing LOVE. When you have nothing, you can always GIVE LOVE.
