The Mansion in the Sky

Everyone wants a mansion, but few are willing to work for it. Wishing for a mansion is like hoping for snow in the summer. The cost of a mansion would discourage most people. No matter what size of your house, you can only occupy one room at a time. When you die, you can't take it with you.

There is hope for the mansion lover. Jesus often taught His disciples about a house built without hands. In St John 14: 2-3. "In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you, I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also."

We must understand the word mansion means a place to abode. It is the hope of every believer to be with the Lord of Glory. Heaven is a prepared place for God's people. Being born again is the process of becoming spiritual. No flesh shall enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Jesus said He would prepare a place for us and come and get us. The Bible teaches us to be ready at all times. No man knows the day or the hour Christ will return.
