The House of Prayer

The House of Prayer is under attack by the force of evil. Through discipline and power, the Church shall overcome evil with good. Consistency is the discipline of the Church. The power of the Church is when taking a stand against sin. The Church has a commission to fulfill a call to evangelize to save lost souls. It is not wise to evangelize without power. Our power comes through prayer and praise. Jesus commanded the disciples to WAIT for the promise of the Father. Acts 1:4-5, "And being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which saith he, ye have heard of me. For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence."

We only receive the promise when we are obedient. Obedience of the Church is necessary to receive the aid of the Holy Spirit. Waiting Patience and Suffering Patience are the foundation of a witnessing Church. By the Holy Spirit, we can be an effective witness. Your walk, work, and worship can entice someone to accept Jesus Christ as Savior.
