The Cost of Denial

Denial is not wanting to accept the truth. Because you can't see a matter doesn't make it not untrue. We believe in God by faith and not because we can see Him. We can feel His presence. To deny faith is the sin of unbelief. Unbelief hinderes regeneration. Being born again is the Regeneration of the Holy Spirit. Believing in Jesus Christ is accepting Him as Lord and Savior. You are Saved, or you are Lost. The plan of salvation does not save you. Your belief in what Christ has done for you releases the power of what you will become. We become the righteousness of God through Christ the Lord. The atonement work Jesus did a Calvary made us free from sin. Now we are safe in Him from the wrath of God.

Peter denied Christ because of fear. Not because Peter didn't love Him. When you worry about what people will say, you will not be a good witness. Peter made the mistake of sitting with the wrong crowd. The people in your life can influence your judgment. They are always ready to point you out. Peter found out the cost of denial is more than you want to pay. St. Matthew 26:75 "And Peter remembered the word of Jesus, which said unto him, Before the cock crow, thou shall deny me thrice. And he went out, and wept bitterly."
