Serving God with a Passion

What's your goal in life? Is getting rich your only goal? There is more to life than the wealth of this world. The fulfillment of joy comes from serving the Lord.

God knows everything, He sees everything, and He has all power. To serve God, you must get to know Him. Knowing God will develop a personal relationship. The ultimate goal in serving is to please God. We can not please God in the flesh; we must first become spiritual by the new birth. The new birth comes by faith in Christ through the Holy Spirit.

Jesus Christ is our perfect example of a faithful servant. The foundation of a relationship with God is faith and obedience. We must be willing to make the sacrifice to please God. Our mission is to follow Jesus and keep His commandments. In the Bible, St. Luke 9:23, " And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me." Jesus taught His disciples about love and compassion. The Great Commission is the work. Read St. Mark 16: 15 &16. " And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned." The mission is threefold. 1. Compassion, 2. Concern, and 3. Contact.

The selfish pleasures of sin and iniquities will hinder your work. We must be about the Father's business.
