Recovery, after a great fall

When you have messed up and there is no place to go, what is your next step? Or who can you count on? Most of us hit ROCK BOTTOM before we come to our senses. The highway of PLEASURE and SIN leads to a place called Hell. Hell increases itself to receive its victims without discrimination. Death has made an APPOINTMENT that you must keep. Your will and volition (your choice) are the only things you own, so get back in control of your destiny. If you are down in the dumps, there is a way out. Forsake your PRIDE and come back to the Lord. Many of us have gone astray, but we had enough sense to repent and come back. The key is don't wait until it's too late. You can have the assurance that God will accept you back into the fold.

There are steps that you must take before restoration. 1. Make the DECISION; you must humble yourself and confess your sins. You must realize that it was SIN and PLEASURE that caused your downfall. After much prayer, you are ready to be restored. 2. Take ACTION; Go to the Church of your choice and rededicate your LIFE to Christ. Being in denial does not help. Your PRIDE will hinder your return. 3. Be ACCOUNTABLE for your actions because your deeds will judge you. Don't let your past interfere with your future. It is time to move forward and don't look backward. Then it's your RESPONSIBILITY to follow Jesus. Jesus leads all of us on the PATH of RIGHTEOUSNESS for His namesake. Salvation is found only in Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
