Praise and Worship are your Gift to God

Your belief is the foundation of your Walk and of your Worship. Belief in Christ is the beginning of your spirituality. Salvation is God's Gift to you, and your PRAISE and WORSHIP is your Gift to God. God does not compel us to worship Him; we must worship God and Him alone, by our own free will. It is unusual for man to worship God, because man seeks worship from one another. The creature desires worship more than worshipping the Creator.

Satan was an angel (creature) in heaven, and he refused to worship the only Holy Father. Pride caused Satan to rebel against God, and he said in his heart, "It is better to rule all of hell than to serve in Heaven." Then he was cast out of Heaven. Don't let your pride hinder your worship! We often approach God with the wrong motive. God is worthy of our praise and worship. When you worship God, you must approach His throne in the power of the Holy Ghost and in the Name of Jesus. Your love for this world is not welcome in God's worship, nor is your love for money. God is no respecter of persons; you must surrender your heart to His Will. God does not expect you to worship Him, but it is a requirement. Psalm 95:68, "O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lord our maker. For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. Today if ye will hear his voice, harden not your heart, as in the provocation, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness." The call to worship is a call to humble submission. Even as Christ gave himself to God in total submission, we must also give ourselves to God.
