Commitment comes out of motivation, people with low self-esteem are not highly motivated. What is it that jump start you? Some people are motivated by GREED no matter how much they get, they want more. Some are motivated by their pride and they are driven by their own lust. A Christian worker must be motivated by love and compassion. You must be committed to Christ with all your heart, it’s the will of God. When you are motivated by the power of love, you are ready to do the work of God. Your commitment to Christ will help you to overcome obstacles that hinder your work. Active Sin in your life is the greatest to overcome, but prayer will see you through. Lives are changed and souls are saved by the power of prayer. Without prayer you will become weak and your commitment will diminish. Committed workers overcome their obstacles and stay focus on their goals. Doing the work of God is not easy, but the joy of Christ lightens the burden. Without conviction there is no commitment. The CONVICTION of the Holy Spirit motivates and inspires each Christian to be committed to the will of God. By the power of the Holy Spirit we can discern between being Carnal minded and being spiritual minded. Carnal minded Christians are Churchians but new born believers are true Christians. Churchians focus on the physical things in life. Their focus is on the church’s earthly needs and it’s finances and not the work of saving souls. Their focus is on church buildings and not the spiritual body of Christ. Committed new born Christian are focused on following Christ. They are always mindful that Christ is The Center of their lives. Being COMMITTED to Christ is to follow Him and be obedient to God. The lust of the flesh and the pleasure of sin will defeat you and you will one day be ashamed. God has placed some responsibility into your hands; be careful how you handle the job. You will have to give an account of your stewardship. Before you start your mission, please get your commission. Instructions are key to a plan; plan your work and work your plan. Maps are used to get you to a place that you’ve never been, use your bible it’s a road map to heaven. Christ is the way to get to heaven and it’s the only way. Read St. John 14:6, “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth and the life: no man cometh to the Father, but by me.” Jesus was committed to doing the work of God and we must be committed to doing the work of Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit…
