Loneliness is a struggle within that you can overcome. When you isolate yourself from others, you are building a wall. You go from having a few friends to having no friends. It's healthy to have someone to talk to about what you are going through. Then there is a need "to be needed." When you can depend on a friend, and that friend can depend on you, make it a good relationship. Loneliness produces FRUSTRATION and SADNESS. When frustrated, you can not think nor can you stay focus on your goals. Sometimes loneliness can cause you to feel empty and have no hope. You might be lonely but you don't have to be empty. Christians sometimes face a lot of loneliness but you don't have to be empty. It is sad when you can't find a reason to praise God for the great things that He has done. In the time of trouble and in the mist of sadness, praise God, and He will restore your joy. God has given us of His Spirit to Comfort us, to lead us, and to guide us in our times of LONELINESS. If you don't give yourself to the Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit will not make you follow His lead nor accept His comfort. When emptiness is a void in your life, it gives place to sin. But when we are filled with the Spirit of God, we have the power to overcome the adversary and sin. Then we can experience the joy of Christ. Don't let nothing take away your joy. Our Christian walk is a uphill journey and no matter what it takes to make it, we must be willing to do so. Christ is our greatest example, He endured loneliness, shame and pain. As Christ went to the Garden of Gethsemane, you must prepare for your hour of loneliness. This is the time and place that you learn to pray and that you learn to trust God. Yes, it is in the Garden that you have your MIDNIGHT HOUR. The enemy will show up and cause you to have doubt. But, be strong in the Lord. When you exit the garden, then there is a road of suffering which leads to a hill called Calvary. Each Christian must make their way to Calvary. It's not going to be easy, but it is possible! When you get there, you will know that it is your time to glorify God with your all. At this hour (time) you will realize that, it is not what you have done for God, but what God has done for you. So many lonely people like you and me have made the journey. We must endure the pain and suffering and bear our cross. Jesus made it first and we can also, by the power of the Holy Spirit. We must continue to WATCH, FIGHT and PRAY. We must work to enter into the Lord's glory.
