The Origin of a Lie

In the bible, study St. John chapter 8. Study and understand where lies come from in verses 44-45. "Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not."
Lies are the work of the devil. You become a suspect if you do not believe the truth. Lying comes naturally. No one needs to teach you how to lie. But you must be taught to tell the truth. A little white lie has the same impact as a big lie; a half-truth is a WHOLE LIE.
Deception has destroyed many lives. The deceiver has a day of judgment coming. The deception is all around us.
Three lies that the devil wants you to believe, 1. He does not exist. 2. You have plenty of time to seek Christ for Salvation. 3. There is no hell. You must choose to become a believer in the saving power of Christ the Lord. Non-believers will have the same outcome as the deceiver. The Lake of Fire!
