Sin has an impact on everyone’s life. You can’t say that “I’m not a sinner.” We were all born in sin and sin destroys our relationship with God. Sin separates the creature from the Creator. We were all made sinners because of one man’s DISOBEDIENCE and we are made the righteousness of God because of one man’s OBEDIENCE. Through Adam, sin and death entered the world. Adam had received a COMMANDMENT (law) from God and he broke that law. There is a consequence of disobeying God’s Word. Sin is like leprosy, it’s contagious. It will spread like a wild fire and the destruction is devastating. No matter where you go, you can’t get away from sin. Because of human nature, the appetite for sin is unquenchable. There is a craving affect that’s never satisfied. If you are going to overcome sin, you must first realize what sin is and what the force of evil will do to your life. Sin is evil and the benefits of sin will cause you to die physically and spiritually. The bible gives us a look at the consequence of sin when it says, (KJV), Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Then it is very clear about who is a sinner in Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. “ You are a sinner wither you admit it or not. If you will not admit that you are a sinner, you are blinded by the power of sin and it will keep you bound. The adversary (the devil) will claim your soul. But there is good news; Jesus Christ is the only way for all mankind to escape the death and the wrath of God. In St. John 14:6 “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” If you are trying to get into heave on your good works, you are deceiving yourself. Christ paid for the sins of the world. You must believe with all of your heart and not doubt. Accept Christ as your personal Savior and be born again and God will do for you what you can’t do for yourself. The power of sin will destroy those who refuse to believe. When you are a new creature in Christ, "let go and let God” be the center of your life. Let hope and love be your foundation; follow Christ and you shall be saved…
