The Faithful Builder

Do you ever wonder why there are so many churches and so few workers? Church building is on the rise because of prestige and financial gain. Loans to build churches are attractive in the world today. And the temptation is greater than ever to desire a great building structure. The world is full of church buildings. There is no greater accomplishment than to build successfully in the name of the Lord. But when you lose sight of the goal that's already set, the cost is more than you can pay. Jesus said, "Upon this rock, I will build my Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it." Jesus was not talking about a physical building, but He was talking about a spiritual building. A building not made by the hands of men. The Church is Spiritual! It's the kingdom of God.  When you are carnal-minded (in the flesh), you can not see the spiritual work of saving souls. You know the purpose of the church, but you can't fulfill the work thereof. The work is saving souls and building the Kingdom of God. Christ is the Head of the Church. The Church must be in the heart of a born-again WORKER. Without faith, we can do nothing. We must submit to the Spirit of God to be successful.
