Moving to a Place of Peace

Moving can be both stressful and exciting for those who don't mind change. It takes planning to move successfully. Making the right move can make a difference. Counting the cost is not the only obstacle. It is also a mental challenge. Letting go of old friends and the excess baggage is the beginning. Don't let the chaos of the past move with you. People who need help cannot be helped by letting them move in with you. They bring their history and their baggage with them. Their history is their life, and the baggage is what is in their hands. Usually, they come empty-handed.

Peace comes from within. Trust God and receive the peace of God. There is comfort in being safe in the Lord.

Most of us don't think about moving from life to death; it's a move we all should prepare for. Did you already make plans for your transition from earth to heaven? If you didn't, hell, a place of torment will be your new place of no peace. We can trust Jesus in His words: "There are many mansions in my Father's house: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you." We should learn that the term mansion means a place of abode. We have assurance of being with Christ when He returns. Good works will not get you into heaven. Christ is the only way to the place of peace. St. John 14:6 " Jesus said unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh to the Father, but by me." The chaos in your life is not going to go away. Moving across town or to another city will not grant you peace.
