Without love, the world would be in total chaos and violence. Love gives the world a sense of BALANCE. Love is what makes the world go around and is the element that holds the world together. God blessed this world to be fruitful and to magnify His Name. All creation should acknowledge the Creator, God Almighty! There is none like Him, nor are there any that can make war with Him. God is everywhere, He knows everything, and He can see all things. The world that God created was a place of peace and harmony until sin entered the world. Because of the creature's disobedience, SIN and DEATH came into the world. Adam's disobedience caused all men to be born in sin. Then Adam had knowledge of GOOD and EVIL. Even today, we have the knowledge of right and wrong. We had no choice in being born in sin, but we do have the choice to do that which is RIGHT. Sin is not EXCUSED; all sin must be paid for in full. There are no layaway plans nor sacrifices of rams and goats. God forgives sin because of His great love for mankind. God sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to redeem mankind. Through the obedience of Christ, we received the opportunity to become free of sin. Love is more than a notion; it is ACTION. It is not what you say, but what you do. Christ taught about the characteristics of love and its unselfishness. Our desire to fulfill the will of God must be done out of love. In the bible (KJV), St. John 10:17-18, “Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I may take it again. No man take it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father." He that received the commandment is able to give the commandment. Then Jesus says in St. John 13:34-35 “A new commandment I give unto you, That you love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another." A commandment is not a request or an expectation; it is a must-do. Forgiveness is the first step to love, and unselfishness is the key to abiding in love. I John 4:7, "Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and everyone that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God." When we follow Jesus, we must love as He loved. Let Christ be seen in you by the love that you share. Love! Love! Love!
