God Knows the Secrets of the Heart

Man's sinful condition caught God's attention. Man's ambition and desires are full of wickedness. Genesis 6:5-8 " And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And it repented the Lord that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. And the Lord said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I made them. But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord."

Sin was the cause of the destruction and the fall of man. I John 3:20 "For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things." God has made a way for man to overcome sin through grace by faith in Jesus Christ.

No one could keep the laws of God, so God sent His only begotten Son to fulfill the law. The world is evil; only Jesus Christ could pay the price for redemption. We must be like King David. And ask God to create a new heart in us through the new birth. Confession is the beginning. When we confess our sins, God is willing to forgive us.
