A Hostile Takeover

You should oppose the enemy who invades your life. Protect yourself at all times with prayer and spiritual awareness. There are times when we let our guard down. Putting your trust in people or things can make you an easy target. People who smile in your face are not always friends. Everything that shines is not gold. A good defense is sometimes your best offense. The enemy wants to take what you have and your life. Some things are not worth holding on to; let them go. When you live in a world of make-believe, you are vulnerable to a hostile takeover. The pleasure of sin is the force that catches you off guard. The wrong decisions will cost you more than you want to pay. Sinful lust is cheap at the beginning, then comes the inflation of greed. When you spend more than you make, your downfall is at hand. The enemy will make an offer that looks good. If you compromise with evil, darkness will consume you. Will you sell out or will you stand on the solid rock of faith?

The enemy wants your soul. Your protection is Christ the Lord. When we fail to follow the Lord, we fall short of the glory of God. The devil is waiting for you to self-destruct. The threat is real. Then he will make a move for a hostile takeover.
