Unhappy Christians

Posted on August 23, 2020 at 3:25 AM Comments comments (0)

Unhappy Christians are motivated to complain more than they are willing to work in the Will of God. God has a Master Plan for your life. God has purposed His Will in our hearts. When things do not go our way, we find ourselves sad and unhappy. We complain about many things that are not important. Complaining does not change things; Its Action that gets the job done. Sadness hinders a good spirit. The joy of the Lord should fill our hearts today. Don't be a SAPPY Christian (sad-happy) be a Spirit-filled witness. Sappy Christians want to be happy but the IF Factor gets in their way. They complain by saying, "If I had a better job, I would be happy, or If I had more money, I would be happy." Happiness comes from within; no amount of money nor things can make you happy. These things will set you up for the pleasure of sin. When we have ACTIVE SIN in our lives, it affects the joy of the Lord. Suffering for righteousness will make you an effective witness. A sad and unhappy Christian will not bear the fruit of love. Love must be your motive in your WALK, WORK, and WITNESS. There is no room for your personal feelings.

Sowing in Un-fertile Ground

Posted on July 12, 2020 at 1:25 AM Comments comments (0)

Sowing in the unfertile ground is not always unprofitable sometimes the experiences are PRICELESS. We should learn from our mistakes and make better decisions. Be not enticed by those who claim, "Sow a seed and reap four-folds." Be a wise PLANTER! If you sow into someone else's ground, they will reap your HARVEST! do you get the picture? Learn the rules of planting first. Planting is done by faith, then plan on doing some work. Faith without works is dead; so are the results. PREPARATION of the ground is KEY to receiving a great harvest. Be sure to count the cost and manage your time. When you fail to plan anything can grow and affect your work. Be aware of tares. Sometimes we deceive ourselves, when we sow a little and expect much in return or when we send out evil and and expect good to be the results. Don't be a fool, to think that you can plant peaches and reap apples is not wise. Make up your mind! Choose good fruit or you will end up with evil fruit. You have the choice to plant whatever you want to plant. Make sure that you plant GOOD SEED in FERTILE GROUND! Then you can expect a GREAT HARVEST. In the bible, (KJV). St. Matthew 12:33, Jesus gives us an ultimatum! "Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is know by his fruit." Now let us understand what the Lord is saying, Either make the LIFE good and his ACTIONS good, or else make the LIFE corrupt and his ACTIONS corrupt: for the LIFE is known by his ACTIONS. People will doubt what you say but they will believe what you do.

Recovering from DISAPPOINTMENT

Posted on April 21, 2020 at 11:20 PM Comments comments (2)

To recover is to get better or regain something that was lost. There are so many disappointments in life, without them we would not appreciate God and His goodness. Disappointment is an emotion that can be dealt with by trusting the Lord. Sadness is the way we react or respond by shedding tears. Tears are not always from disappointments, there are also tears of joy. When we are disappointed we must make a choice to use DIRECT COPING instead of DEFENSIVE COPING. Defensive coping is a way of dealing with an emotional or stressful problem by running away; instead of facing reality. Running away does not make things better they only get worse. If you can face your mistakes, you can initiate your RECOVERY. It is unhealthy to give up! Direct coping is "manning up" facing the PROBLEMS and finding ways to solve them. We must learn to cope with LIFE as it comes on a daily basis. Life is not fair and sometimes people are not fair. Be encouraged when people let you down. I believe that God is always fair. If you don't have to go to hell for the sins that I commit and I don't have to go to hell for the sins that you commit, that's fair enough for me. I am in denial when I blame others for my failures and shortcommings. I must be able to forgive others when they disappoint me. MY RECOVERY IS ACCORDING TO WHAT I DO NEXT. If I fail to do nothing I have no one to blame but myself. The best way to recover from disappointment is to PRAY and TRUST God. That's easy to say but not easy to do. By the power of the Holy Spirit we learn to trust in God and build our hope in Christ. We can overcome all our disappointments in Christ our Savior.

You can put your trust in God

Posted on March 23, 2020 at 8:50 PM Comments comments (1)

Let not your heart be troubled, Believe in God and He will keep you safe. It is the pleasure of God to watch over His children and to keep them in His care. Being out of the ark of safty will be devastating to your soul, your soul is counting you to make the right decision. You must be born again and become apart of God's family. You cannot walk into God's Kingdom, you must be born into it. Becoming spiritural is your assurance that God is with you in times like these. You can put your trust in man and he will let you down. Come to Jesus and He will save you from your sin. If you die without Jesus Christ being your Savior you will go to hell. Hell is waiting for all of those who do not believe and trust God. God is able to Protect and Provide for His people. God is all that we need. Trust Him!

What will it take for you to BELIEVE?

Posted on August 27, 2019 at 11:45 PM Comments comments (0)

In the bible, St. John 20:24-29 is a great lesson to learn about unbelief. The sin of unbelief is one of the greatest sins that a man can commit. You must believe that God is, and you must come to Him by faith. It is one think to know about God and it is another to know God personally. Do you know Him today? To know God is to WORSHIP Him, PRAISE Him and Walk with Him. A personal relationship with God starts with being born again. Being born of God's Spirit is what makes a man spititural. Unbelievers cannot please God in the flesh. Every man must believe that God makes him a new creature in Christ. The new birth in Jesus Christ is the key to true Worship and the only way to Walk with God is to be in Christ. The sin of unbelief hinders your walk, your praise and your worship. Pray and be of good cheer Christ is the only way to please God.

Praise God

Posted on February 3, 2018 at 3:20 PM Comments comments (50)

In your midnight hour, CAN YOU PRAISE God? or do you give up? No one wants questions, when they are seeking answers. But you must answer this question and you must be able to praise God in your darkest hour. If you praise God because someone does, when they quit: you will too. If you praise God for the things that you have, when they are gone: you will leave too. The things we have should not dictate our praises to God! Jesus was able to praise God the Father in His DARKNEST hour, because He was WILLING TO GIVE Himself TO TOTAL SUBMISSION. I want to encourage you to give yourself in total submission to the will of God. Don’t be taken in by this saying “when praises go up, blessing come down.” If your praise go up with the wrong motive, it is REJECTED. Then there is the “believe it and receive it concept.” When you believe it, you can ACHEIVE it through Christ. All things are possible with God. In all circumstances, praise God and your sorrows will be turned into joy. In the bible, St. John 15:10-12, “If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love. These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.” When we are filled with the Word of God and we are led by the Holy Spirit, we can give God all the PRAISES that He so richly deserves. When you are down and out, PRAISE God! When life’s problems are more than you can bear, PRAISE God! God will work it out for you. Just PRAISE Him…

The CRY that STOPPED God

Posted on January 20, 2018 at 9:30 PM Comments comments (0)

Blindness is more than not being able to see, without spiritual discernment; you are spiritually BLIND. Bartimeus suffered from a physical blindness, but he had a SPIRITAUL AWEARNESS. Bartimeus had heard about the great work of Jesus how He healed the lame and they walked, cause the deaf to hear. Undoubtedly, there was negative talk about Jesus as well. This blind man received something that he was not expecting. A miracle! He hears the word that Jesus is passing by his way and he began to cry out, saying “Jesus thou Son of David, have mercy on me.” But the people around him said he should hold his peace: “but cried the more a great deal, Thou son of David, have mercy on me.” Key verse 49, And Jesus stood still, and commanded him to be called. The cry for MERCY caused God to stand still. You cannot stop God until you get His attention. We can get God’s attention by admitting that we are sinners and confessing our sins. We must call on the name Jesus. When Bartimeus got the attention of Jesus, they told him, “Be of good comfort, rise; he calleth thee.” Verse 50 says, And he casting away his garment, rose, and came to Jesus. Casting a way his garment represents letting the things of this world go, letting life’s problems go and come to Jesus. Then, Jesus answered and said unto him, What wilt thou that I should do unto thee? The blind man said unto him, Lord that I might receive my sight. Now understand the change in Bartimeus, he now acknowledge Jesus as Lord. And Jesus said un to him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way. When we pray and cry for mercy, God will give us spiritual sight that we may come out of darkness and follower Jesus. Then we are ready to receive the gift of the Holy Ghost and walk in the Light of Christ. You must trust God to grant unto you the miracle of the New Birth, without the new birth, you will continue in spiritual darkness. If we are going to truly follow Jesus, we must be fill with the Holy Spirit. Jesus makes it possible to for all born again believers to follow His path of righteousness. It is through the power of prayer and bearing your cross that make a difference in our lives. We must learn how to pray, there is no secret to praying, but there is a formula. A.C.T.S. A is for ADORATION, C is for CONFESSION, T is for THANKSGIVING and S is for SUPPLICATION. Prayer is the KEY to spiritual awareness. God will answer prayer…   Read St. Mark 10:46-52

This Gift is for YOU

Posted on December 24, 2017 at 9:20 PM Comments comments (5)

Every year at Christmas, we all look for something that we want. No matter how much we would get, we always hoped for more. The miracle of giving is far from us, we think that we should always receive. We must remember that God gave the world what no one else could. This gift is manifested in His Son Jesus Christ. There is no greater love than the gift of a Savior to a wicked people and a wicked world. You can give and not love but you can’t love and not give. God has not forgotten His people and He will not forget you. In the bible St. Luke 2:10-11, “And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord.” The Word of God inspires us first, to not be afraid, but be willing to accept the good news of great joy that Christ has come to save His people from their sins. Then you must personalize this good news because it is for you. Christ must become your personal Savior. The joy of the good news is that God does for us what we can’t do for ourselves, even though we don’t deserve it. There are three things that you must understand about the coming of Christ. 1. The Annunciation, 2. The Proclamation and 3. Invitation.

In the sixth month the angel Gabriel came to a virgin name Mary, saying unto her, “Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favor with God. And behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name Jesus.” The proclamation is that God, our Redeemer has given us a Savior. By the power of the Holy Spirit, we must become witnesses proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ to a dying world. We must let the world know that Jesus Christ is our hope. Salvation is the free gift of God extended to all men everywhere. The great invitation is found in St. Matthew 11:28-30, “Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls." For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” Accept Christ into your life and receive your free gift of salvation…

How do you handle a dilemma that’s bigger than you? Sometimes we are guilty of asking God to do some things that we could do ourselves. Jesus encourages us to have a little faith in God when we ask for something. Christ teaches a great lesson on faith in St. Mark 11:22-23, “And Jesus answering said unto them, Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.” You must exercise faith by works and by deeds. Faith without works is dead. Then there are some believers who suffer from dead works. Problems don’t go away, you must face them by the power of prayer. A little faith is better than no faith. You can increase in faith by hearing and doing the preached word. The Word of God is what we must believe and do by faith. When you face a mountain of UNBELIEF or a mountain of DISAPPOINTMENT. It’s time to trust God, He will give you the power to overcome. You can overcome all your doubt and fears if you take them to the Lord. You must believe that the Lord will help you. Unbelief is sin! You must let the Spirit of God lead you to accept Christ as your personal Savior. As you began to believe, Christ frees you from sin. His saving power assures the believer that God has all power. When temptation is a problem for you, you should ask the Lord to help you. Temptation comes unexpectedly; we should always be ready for an attack from the enemy. When temptation is bigger than you, God will give you a way to excape. You cannot overcome temptation when your heart is filled with doubt.

The mountain of disappointment is filled with many obstacles that you must overcome. The love of MONEY (Mammon) will be a disappointment for those who love mammon more than they love God. When you put your trust in money, you will be disappointed. Money cannot buy love and it cannot cure an illness. When things are not going well in life, it’s time to make a change. You can make a noticeable change by the power of prayer. Prayer makes weak men become strong men and prayer makes spiritually dead men become spiritually alive men. Men without Christ are all spiritually dead. Only Christ can quicken (make alive) the souls of men. The soul of man is eternal. Disappointment will be the end of all those who reject Christ. It is work that will remove your mountain of uncertainty. If you put your trust in riches, you will fall short of the glory of God…

It's Committed Workers that get the Job done

Posted on October 22, 2017 at 12:35 AM Comments comments (1)

Commitment comes out of motivation, people with low self-esteem are not highly motivated. What is it that jump start you? Some people are motivated by GREED no matter how much they get, they want more. Some are motivated by their pride and they are driven by their own lust. A Christian worker must be motivated by love and compassion. You must be committed to Christ with all your heart, it’s the will of God. When you are motivated by the power of love, you are ready to do the work of God. Your commitment to Christ will help you to overcome obstacles that hinder your work. Active Sin in your life is the greatest to overcome, but prayer will see you through. Lives are changed and souls are saved by the power of prayer. Without prayer you will become weak and your commitment will diminish. Committed workers overcome their obstacles and stay focus on their goals. Doing the work of God is not easy, but the joy of Christ lightens the burden. Without conviction there is no commitment. The CONVICTION of the Holy Spirit motivates and inspires each Christian to be committed to the will of God. By the power of the Holy Spirit we can discern between being Carnal minded and being spiritual minded. Carnal minded Christians are Churchians but new born believers are true Christians. Churchians focus on the physical things in life. Their focus is on the church’s earthly needs and it’s finances and not the work of saving souls. Their focus is on church buildings and not the spiritual body of Christ. Committed new born Christian are focused on following Christ. They are always mindful that Christ is The Center of their lives. Being COMMITTED to Christ is to follow Him and be obedient to God. The lust of the flesh and the pleasure of sin will defeat you and you will one day be ashamed. God has placed some responsibility into your hands; be careful how you handle the job. You will have to give an account of your stewardship. Before you start your mission, please get your commission. Instructions are key to a plan; plan your work and work your plan. Maps are used to get you to a place that you’ve never been, use your bible it’s a road map to heaven. Christ is the way to get to heaven and it’s the only way. Read St. John 14:6, “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth and the life: no man cometh to the Father, but by me.” Jesus was committed to doing the work of God and we must be committed to doing the work of Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit…
